Luxembourg, December 2014

This is a short one!

​​It started with me wanting to have stayed a night in at least 10 countries in 2014. When I realized I wouldn't make it and told my sister she decided, that we should go on a short trip together with her husband. We decided to meet up in Luxembourg and spend two days there.

I honestly hardly remember what we did all the time. The only thing I do remember is going to the cinema (watching Despicable Me 2, if I remember correctly) and having breakfast. It was pretty cold and snowing a lot. I can't even remember which hotel we were in or how the city looks like but there's one thing I do remember clearly.

My sister figured out that it was kinda important to me to complete the 10 countries and took the initiative.

How great is it to have a sister like that? A whole family like that?

I believe this was the only vacation my sister and I shared without our parents or grandparents until this day - one more reason to be remembered!

This short passage could have easily been added to the thread about family vacations, but I felt like it deserves to be mentioned separately.
